The ICU RN provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient and in support of the Mission, Vision, and Philosophy of Nursing of Frankfort Regional Medical Center. The ICU RN performs patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator/ Supervisor, and Nursing Director. The ICU RN must be strong decision maker and comply with regulatory and Service Excellence standards. Care is provided in a patient and family-centered environment and in collaboration with physician and ancillary departments.
Must hold a current license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
BLS required upon hire.
ACLS within six months of hire.
TNCC or similar trauma course designed for Inpatient within 2 years of hire.
CCRN within 1 year of eligibility, preferred.
